The 2008 boot camp was a tremendous success thanks to the participation of our dedicated staff.
Lt. Col.Samuel Martin (director of Bearing Precious Seed).
shared about diverse cultures throughout the world. He also taught map reading and survival skills.
Bro. Gregg Waller M.D. (medical missionary) offered hands on training and practical medical advice which is a must in on the mission field.
Bro. Gilbert Anger, through his unique understanding of world missions and vast experience traveling across the globe, supplied a keen insite concerning the need for missionary work today.
Much of the time at camp was spent living in crude housing, many of which offered no running water or electricity. The remainder of the time was spent on rugged trails, sleeping on the ground, and bathing in the river. All of the meals were prepared just as they would be in third world settings. Other areas of camp life included long hours working in the garden, caring for animals, participating in automotive mechanics, cooking over the fire, and doing laundry in a barrel.
